FAQ
-
Do you offer counseling online?
Yes, all of my services are available online. I use a HIPPA-compliant platform called Simple Practice that allows us to facetime in a secure way.
-
How long to sessions last?
Individual sessions last 60 minutes and relationship therapy sessions last 90 minutes. If you are utilizing one of the few insurances I take, they limit sessions to 53 minutes.
-
Do you accept insurance?
Currently, I am in network with very few insurances. My plan is to no longer accept insurance by the end of 2025. There are a few reasons why: 1) Insurance companies request private information about you to approve services (i.e. your diagnosis, progress notes, and treatment plans), and 2) Insurance companies can limit the services available to you based on this information. By paying out-of-pocket for services, you have increased privacy and control over your therapy experience. Because I am myself and work with many neurodivergent people and relationships, I feel that working out-of-pocket is the most ethical way I can provide quality services that are tailored to your specific needs.

How do I pay for sessions?
You can pay for your session with the card you put on file with your paperwork. This card can be a debit, credit, HSA or FSA card.

Do you offer sliding scale?
